Not going to be a popular take, but the SEC is undisputed #1 now.

We already were, but now even the moron talking heads can’t deny it. Texas and Alabama is such a fun matchup.

What exactly do Texas and Oklahoma bring?

Both are perpetual dogshit propped up by playing Kansas and Iowa state every year.

Texas vs Big Six
Alabama 7-2-1 *
Auburn 5-3
Florida 2-0–1
Georgia 4-1
LSU 8-7-1
Tennessee 2-1

Combined 28-14-2 (66%)

* Texas is the only team with a winning record against Alabama in at least 10 games played

You will argue it, but that isn’t nothing.

I look forward to going to Norman for a game, hopefully in 2025, unless you don’t have to return the visit the next season. Not sure how it’s going to work.

It’s not that big of a deal. We played texas in 2021 but still had to play an SEC schedule. It’s like an OOC team added to the schedule we generally are used to playing.

I don’t see much of a difference at all.

Texas and Texas A&M are unquestionably the most overhyped, over-ranked, resource wasting, and unjustifiably arrogant, programs in the nation in the last 15 years. Never seen so many flops after being ranked preseason top 10.

I guess the juice boxes and orange slices aren’t enough to make those linemen competitive.

This dude is acting like we (the school or fans) control preseason rankings. It’s crazy to me. How dare we rank ourselves I guess.

If you follow college football, most of what goes into preseason rankings is returning talent on top of highly rated recruiting classes, which further emphasizes my point. Texas is where 5 star recruits come to die and fade into obscurity, the transfer portal, and junior college, while still being proud owners of participation trophies and cups commemorating home victories. Texas isn’t back and A&M was never there.

If it was disputed before, it will still be disputed.

6 out of 9 CFP championships.

The only conference with more than one team with a CFP championship and it's three teams.

Only three teams have won multiple championships and the SEC has two of those.

Living in Houston since 2008, I have trouble counting the times I warned Aggy, "Hey, Auburn extended Gene, that worked out well" etc. Probably not a good idea on a dream season.
They never GAF. Those that don't learn from history are (FSU, AU, etc) ... Aggy?

I have zero use for Oklahoma (not about the people, but frick the weather.) Austin is one of the most supremely overrated places on earth, and has been for decades. It's awesome if you come from Stillwater or Ames, I guess, but... Meh.

Meh whatever. It will be fun regardless of our w/l record. Perhaps it's my age but I just don't lose much sleep over football games anymore. I just enjoy the experience and there are going to be some fun games next year for sure.

Once you get that Prozac refilled, and from reading your post you clearly need to, just enjoy the experience it's going to be a fun conference I think.

So you aren’t challenging his claim of A&M always choking when expectations are high you just don’t think the expectations should ever be high?

Were you born last week?

Why don't you compare Tennessee's football history with both Texas and Oklahoma going back more than the Last 5 Years. Oklahoma is the second best program of all time behind Alabama, in my opinion, and we won a hell of a lot more than Tennessee has.
Yes we suck right now but college football wasn't invented 10 years ago

Undisputed since at least Florida’s Tebow teams.

Now the SEC is just flaunting.
