Yes this is about money, clemson/fsu would be in the top half of the big and sec according to tv numbers playing acc schools. Adding those eyeballs to fan bases that wouldn't normally watch them(big ten) would be a ratings bonanza, not saying the big will go that route but to say they wouldn't consider it is foolish. If it really is going to be just two conferences the bigs best move would be to pluck them and any west coast team that has a following. If the big does that the sec will 100% be behind in money when the split happens. Fsu/clemson keeping a weaker schedule but making big ten money would destroy the sec middle class
