We don’t have a good enough lefty starter to throw at LSU. Our pitching did decent first time around. Problem with Skenes is that 1 run could be enough

Why do you think you need a lefty starter?
LSU has a .305 batting average against lefties. That’s the best in the conference and a higher average than anyone's (sans LSU) overall team BA

Maybe you can borrow that Mathews kid from Stanford..it seems they don’t care how many pitches he throws …and they will probably just use him again when needed…win-win
