Best part about this thread is Alabama fans talking about the culture shock that’s coming as if Texas and Alabama didn’t just play a game in which Alabama needed a last second FG to win by 1 against a Texas team playing with a hobbled backup.
Funny enough, Texas has fared just fine against the SEC recently other than the trip to Fayetteville.
2022: 20-19 loss to Alabama
2021: 40-21 loss to Arkansas
2019: 50-43 loss to LSU (National Champs)
2018: 28-21 win vs Georgia
And these are mediocre at best Texas teams. Texas worst performance against the SEC coming against the worst team of the 4 is pretty much indicative of why Texas hasn’t accomplished anything for a decade, box of chocolates.
