happy for yall.
The road games are amazing and you need to make an effort to hit all of the campuses up. It will feel like a bowl game every week... I mean that you are about to see TRUE fandom is (fantatics) when visiting.
and I hope you're a baseball fan; while the league is strong in football it is seriously another level in baseball.
good post and welcome!

In the realignment arms race, Texas, OU, and the SEC all hit a grand slam.
Prior to the addition of my school plus the land thieves the biggest brands in college athletics that weren’t already in the SEC or B1G were ( in order)
Texas
Notre Dame
USC
Oklahoma
Clemson
Florida State
The SEC picked up two of these and the B1G got one.
But from the Texas OU perspective our deal is sooo much better than USCs just due to geography. I bet USC ends up eliminating some programs in the future because of travel expense for non-revenue sports. Of course, they have to eliminate an equal number of men’s scholarships as women’s. I think they’ll regret the move. Our move is the best possible outcome for us and our meth-head neighbors to the north.
