“I can understand Texas jumping over, they get to play Texas A&M again, they can’t win the Big 12 anyway,” Spurrier quipped. “I think they’ve only won two in the last 30 years or so. So I can see Texas jumping over—more money, playing A&M, this, that and the other.”

Spurrier always speaks with dagger tongue.

I hated him at Florida for obvious reasons, but I love the ole ball coach.

I wish more Americans would be open and candid like he is. It is refreshing. No bullshite….

Texas only won three Big 12 titles and one of those titles happened in 1996 so it wasn’t like the ball coach was very far off when he said Texas only has two conference titles in 30 years.

This quote was in a sports news article. I'll give you Spurrier's address and you can write and tell him he's a liar.

He ain't lying. Unfortunately for the fans, Texas isn't really concerned with what happens on the field.

I'm old enough to remember a dominating Texas program that pretty much sealed up every 5 star in the state, minus a very few that we got. Spurrier seems to forget those days.

I don't.

He went out at the pinnacle, coaching the home team in Tiger Stadium.

Next time just admit from the start you were reading a Dawg Nation post about Jimbo. We’ll believe that.

2009 BCS title game broke Mack Brown's brain so badly that he tanked the program by moving away from the offense that Texas talent is well suited for.

A&M went to the SEC in 2012 and Texas was no longer the defacto top choice for instate talent. Representing the state in the big boy SEC was an effective sell for the Aggies.

Longhorn Network buried 1 or 2 games per year while A&M was playing Alabama on CBS and Manziel won a Heisman.

We hired Charlie Strong.

Pretty much a perfect storm for the decade of despair that was the 2010s.

Moving to the SEC is hitting the reset button. If Sark can put something together this year, I'll feel good. If not, we'll go get CUM and you will all be fricked.

Mack whiffed on Gilbert & quite developing OL. That’s been the problem the last decade and what Sark has emphasize since getting here.
