Malaki Starks game saving play
Georgia held them to a field goal on this drive. That was a very puzzling game from Georgia's offensive line. Almost as if they had absolutely no idea what Missouri was doing or how to block it.

And yet, almost 500 yards of total offense. We didn't play well. And I give Mizzou credit for confusing our offense.
But their FG kicker made a 49 yarder and two 50 plus and two other kicks. Didn't miss any.
Mizzou was plus two in the turnover department.
Stetson was off and it showed on third down. 4 for 13. Horrible night and lucky to escape.
Everyone was wondering if Missouri would be able to stop Vandy from finishing in the cellar before that game. Had that 2019 S. Carolina vibe to it. Thankfully, we survived.

It was just a speed rush off the edge.
Nothing special. But they dialed in on the snap counts, and we were slow meeting them at the point.
Once we scrapped the inside zone playcalls, we pretty much did what we wanted (controlling first and second down and avoiding the 3rd and longs).
But it was like looking at a completely different UGA OL watching them lose the edge time and time again.

Credit their pass rush.
That's how you make a QB have an off night.
Win with 4.

Wasn't one of them scared to play the other last year?? I've slept since then

Which is where we are losing that 20% on the defensive side in production.
Lord bless the Tigers with a late addition portal edge rusher please.

Y'all have had great linebacker play in the past.
If the edge players can't get it done, there are other ways to make chicken salad.
It just makes life that much more difficult for the OC/QB when the front 4 can just take care of business.

They have an awesome linebacker group still there.
Ty’ron Hopper and Chad Bailey being the main two. The back of that defense is littered with studs. Abrams-Draine and Rakestraw at Corner. You got Daylan Carnell, Jaylon Carlie’s and Joseph Charleston at Safety. In the middle with Darius Robinson and Kristan Williams. I think they plan on moving Jerrigan who was a stud at OSU and at Mizzou last year to the edge. I just hope it works. That leave one edge open and I have absolutely no idea what their plans are there. Scared.

Over 80% of production is returning off this team that gave Georgia a run for its money
Over 80% of the UGA defense that shut Missouri down in the 4th qtr is returning.

Actual Numbers:
Only top 20 college defenses returning at least 70% of production
•#20 Missouri 80%
•#6 Michigan 78%
•#9 Ohio State 77%
•#4 Penn State 75%
•#8 Clemson 75%
•#1 Georgia 70%
Still to be #1 returning 70% of production is insane.

Georgia has a few studs left on the front 4.
But we are relying on a ton of new names to both step up and add depth.
The ceiling of our defense will be determined by how those 5 stars and high 4 stars fill their roles for 2023.
We were the no-named defense in 2021.
And we had to replace most of those guys for 2022.
2023 looks to be another no named defense.
Same as it ever was.

Now let’s talk about board access.

I am making multiple investments this year in the O/U line of Mizzou football wins.
The line is currently set at O6.5. I really don't see how they do not get to 7 wins.
I think they'll finish around 8 wins this season.
Oh damn now I really hope my prediction sticks
Remember when you hid for a whole week after 92-67?

I credit their DC. They gave us looks we weren't expecting and crossed us up on blocking assignments.
