Nobody lost their mind over bud light. People just said enough of the bullshite.

Lots of people lost their minds over covid. Liberals wanting to chop their dicks off have lost their mind. Bud light lost their mind trying to push that crap on their customers. But nobody is losing their mind because they refuse to drink bud light. It's a logical and reasonable response.

Yeah, folks with a firm grasp of reality will go out and buy a product and video themselves destroying said product to let other folks know just how disgusting the actions of the company which makes said product are in their opinion...that, I think, is the picture in the Websters next to "sane" and "rational"...

Folks did lose their minds over COVID...there is no question that should someone chop their pecker off that person has some issues. Drinking a brand of beer is a choice...buying said beer and making a video of you destroying said purchase is not the actions of a rational person...

One of the more pronounced losses of a collective mind is the United States, in reaction to an irrational fear of COVID, invoking Title 42. Folks of all stripes are suffering from the snowflake reaction, left, right and center...it is one thing that is common to almost everyone without regard to anything other than being alive in this day and age...

The only people I know of who did that were Kid Rock and I think some other singer or band. Kid Rick is signaling to his fanbase that he doesn't support that shite. It's advertising. Is it completely rational? Probably not for a normal person. But he's a damn rock star that is trying to draw attention to himself. It worked. We're all rocking with Kid Rock.

If my buddies called me up and said we are gonna go buy a bunch of bud light and shoot it, I'd say they'd lost their damn mind.

For me the point is businesses and entertainers should keep their business and their politics separate. Do they have a right to voice their politics and opinions? tes. Is it a smart thing to do? No.

I want my entertainers to entertain. Sing. Act. Play your sport. They can air out their agenda if they want, and i can choose not to watch/listen/buy their product if I choose because i disagree.

It's just smart not to push an agenda on your customer/fan base. Let them form their opinions and have them and the businesses/entertainers can form and have their opinions, but they should not try to force them on others through advertising.

People have criticized Christians for decades for "forcing" their opinions/lifestyle on people who do not want to hear them, yet we are supposed to applaud and support entertainers and businesses for doing that and more? Seems oddly hypocritical. Christians are told they should not try to influence legislation based upon their beliefs yet entertainers and businesses are given a pass?

Stay in your lane.

Actors should act. Singers should sing. Businesses should put a product out. If they choose to try to influence me socially or politically that is fine, but don't cry when consequences come down and I decide not to go to your movies, listen to your music or buy your product.
