How old were you the last time Vandy went to a bowl ?

Was it 1982 or 1984? Either way I don't remember. I was either 6 months or 2 1/2 years old. Maybe they can play in Birmingham again this year.

Anyone have a link to Vanderbilt's best football message board?

I was 22 and in attendance at the game, having graduated from Vandy the preceding spring. I must admit to having been a bit annoyed that they had their good year AFTER I graduated.

Let's put this in perspective: Over my four-year college career, Vandy's record was 9-35, comprised of a 1-23 record in the SEC (beat Ole Miss in Oxford my senior year) and 8-12 against non-conference opponents (5 of the 8 non-conference wins were against either Memphis or UTC).

Needless to say, I'm ready to party at a bowl game again!!
