Pitchers and QBs are generally protected by teams. He could/should have threw behind the next guys head or threw 4 high and tight to correct the behavior.

I thought Moore's actions were fiery but not worth any kind of ejection... Until, he flailed his arms after the ump backed him off. That was in the personal space of the ump. So at that point, right or wrong, he gave himself up for potential ejection.

On the contrary, I have seen tons of pitchers stick up for themselves.

Pitchers have also been known to throw at batters and hit them as retaliation. I mean this isn't some foreign concept. Tennessee athletes are just soft.
I get QBs. they are smaller than a LB or DLineman. but pitchers? SoftVols.
