Fade most Big-12 WR’s & any offense that runs their systems.

so basically dont draft Tennessee wide receivers because Ryan Broyles had a disappointing nfl career? Velus Jones was a rookie last year, he might not do shite but its a bit early to call him a bust. The other 2 players are on the draft board this year.

Josh Gordon was pretty productive when not suspended.

He may end up okay, but from a fantasy perspective, you're killing yourself if you drafted him over Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave or Drake London.

No. I like Hyatt. Generally though, being a craftsman is what translates from college to pro at receiver.
Coaches who rely on scheming open instead of teaching the position have a poor track record of producing NFL players. Most bring sloppy habits, have a steep learning curve, and lack physicality.

And folks better not make the same mistake with JSN. He was the best of that tOSU group, and Brian Hartline is the standard right now.

Seven of Hyatt's 15 TDs were schemed open.
The wide hash marks allow that to happen, opening up too much field to cover on one side of the line for the secondary. The space allows a lot more room to get lost without any secondary help spoiling the play.
It's good coaching to take advantage of the game by Heupel and Briles. But yeah, he'll have to learn how to run more nuanced routes in the NFL. Maybe he can. But guys like Jefferson, Chase, Pickens, D. Smith, Jeudy, Waddle etc. were already running those routes.

Wow, someone here who actually follows and understands football. How refreshing.

It's stupid to think JSN will not be a good, if not great player given what Olave and Wilson have done.

UGAs single season receiving yards leader is that NFL great Terrance Edwards(never played a down in an NFL season and the record is 1,004 yards.
Are you sure you want talk about WRs? Hell UGA has never been an WR friendly program. Even with a journeyman WR coach at OC in Monken y’all couldn’t recruit WRs. Pickens was a non productive basket case, AJ Green should have lost his eligibility at UGA, how else have they had?

Tennessee is the 1st place we can evaluate Heupel for. It’s the 1st real program he has had the control and resources to put his guys on the field. And he’s going to put a bunch of guys in the league. Hooker and Milton are both 1st day guys and the Vols already have a bunch of WRs in the league.

He’s talking about fantasy football, not real football. Kinda silly honestly.

I think this is the first year the Vols can truly evaluate Heupel.
Is he more like a Sumlin or Gus, or can his staff develop a consistent program?
