He can throw it through a brick wall that’s for sure. His problem is hitting said brick wall. He also has terrible balance and falls with any contact which is crazy given his size. In short, he sucks and you will do no better than 8-4 with him at the helm.

He looked good vs Clemson, but that doesn’t mean he is what smokeyone claims he is.

The accuracy issue in his 1st year at Tennessee was a product of coming in for summer and not having the WR relationship. In Heupels system QBs and WRs need to see and react to the same keys and without spring camp and the offseason that relationship just wasn’t there. And the fact he threw full speed when he was nervous didn’t help.
In year 2 he had a respectable 65% completion rate in mop up duty and in the only game he was set as a starter with a game plan built to him he completed 68% of his passes in a convincing win against a decent defense.

He has never been a running threat and likely never will be, and Huepel likely will not ask him to do designed runs. It’s not a balance issue but rather a mindset issue. But that’s ok because Tennessee has something it hasn’t seen in a long time….RB depth.

But I get it, UGA fans are unfamiliar with decent much less good QB play. So I can see how these things would leave y’all bewildered.
