As I have stated before, I think people are underestimating UGA offense because they just think of UGA having a defensive philosophy and the offense does not try to feature one guy versus making sure every one eligible is a viable threat. The latter is what is going to be having opposing defenses tear their hair out this Fall.

As stated in the thread above, unless there are a crazy amount of injuries, the depth at WR and RB is simply incredible. No one can replace what Washington brought at TE, and to be fair, I was less than impressed by Delp on Saturday, but then again just about all guys will pale in comparison to Bowers when sharing a field. I will reserve my thoughts on OL as it is hard to know what to think in a Spring Game as there is limited pass rush, but there is enough returning experience that they should be similar to last year.

I hope the incoming scholarship kicker works out because these kickers are going to have to do better than what I saw on Saturday. In a real game, I think at least a couple had a good chance of being blocked- just too low on the trajectory.

Beck should be more than fine when things are going well. But as we all know, there will come a time when he will either show his true mettle when everything isn't working or he won't. We will all find out which one only once that happens, no matter how pretty and catchable a ball he throws. However, I hope it is the former and I hope he stays healthy because I do not think UGA will win a national title if Beck goes down against the meat of the schedule. I simply wasn't impressed by how slow BVG reads and release on the football were, given he has been in the program for two years now. Stockton also held onto the ball too long and didn't have great pocket awareness that I saw. They probably have had better days out of the spotlight and have their plusses as well, but neither looked ready for primetime yet. I also do not agree with the premise that any of them are a more talented QB than Bennett, at least not until they show it to me on the field.

I think there is very little reason to not think the D won't be good enough next year, but the young secondary will be expected to step up. However, I don't think a Spring Game really says much about them as offense is what the crowd comes to see and the schemes are pretty vanilla. For the most part, they seemed to tackle well enough.
