If they were acting an arse they deserved it. They should expect to beat state if they are going to compete in the sec. I think it shows the level of suckiness the last few years.

It may have been on his radio show Thursday night.The fan was asking a question concerning how we matched up on paper against MS.Of course his reply was that he didn't care.He disagreed (I think) with the way the question was asked.He was just Nick Saban.He replied with his normal philosophical answer.Then he went into his rant about supporting the team.He basically said,"I don't give a shite about who we are playing.The fans better show up and be loud."I think his reply was in response to two things.At the Ark St. game the crowd was pretty lame,and at the LSU game the crowd (theirs) played a major roll.Just my take FWIW

It wasn't to a specific fan, but to the fanbase in general. It was during his radio show which is broadcast from a Wings restaurant in Tuscaloosa. The video was from someones cell phone.

Does this surprise anyone? When was at LSU, he was always an arse to the media and for the most part the fans. That is what you get, he is a good coach, but he not a great PR guy.

You must have missed that the fans loved it....media too. I saw it at least fifteen times on ESPN and CBS Saturday, and the commentators were always complimentary.

Just wait, you all will see that side of him, and it will happen sooner than you think.
This not a knock on him, he is a good coach, just watch how he mows thru assistant coaches.
Bottom line is winning, as long as he wins no one will care.

If you look closely, Saban was smiling at the end. I don't think he was scolding any one fan, just ranting in general.

I don't think it was any different than when Miles made the comment about Alabama at the recruiting bash two years ago. he was just trying to get the crowd involved. Saban did great things at LSU and will do the same at Bama. That is a fact. Another fact is he is a dick and his true colors will come out. Just calling it like I see it. Aight?!!

Looked like he was ranting then at the end just kept it going to fire the fans up. Nothing wrong with that.
