I guess we will see, but the one thing he has going for him is that he is quite used to everyone and their mother dumping on him no matter what he does on the field and then playing even better. I find it amusing every time I hear or read about how he won't do the work or hasn't earned his accolades or doesn't care enough about football. Peeps, plenty of QBs aiming to be drafted are saying what the front offices want to hear right now, but only one has proven he is more than talk.

Anyone who thinks this guy will have any sort of career in the NFL outside of journeyman backup (which there are definitely worse ways to make a living) is either a Georgia fan or Stetson's mom.

Betting against Stetson Bennett has been a losing bet, over and over and over again.
I am not predicting he'll be a hall of fame NFL QB, or even ever start an NFL game, but I sure as hell wouldn't bet against him either. It's one of those betting lines you sit out.

I have no opinion on him as a human being but he was a very good college quarterback. I mean that’s just reality. Not sure what this guy did to cause so many people to spend all day pretending he wasn’t. Again, no dog in this fight just find it odd.

I do think that Bennett will not be a starter in the NFL. Sure he may get a few games, best case secnario, but Bennett will be lucky to get a 2nd contract as a back up qb.

Bennett gives a great interview. He usually gives an answer that is thoughtful and far beyond simple coachspeak. As a matter of fact, I think that is why he rubs some the wrong way. He speaks his mind and gives real answers more than processed BS. It is funny. He will usually start on script, but then happily diverges pretty soon after. I think that is what worries front offices. They want their QBs to follow coaching on the field and say only bland platitudes off it.

His problem isn’t media interviews. It’s that his value add is being a reliable backup quarterback that can spot start and not immediately assure a loss when on the field.
