Is Tennessee the best 6th place in their own division team in the entire country?

Would love to win the series tonight and enjoy the rest of my weekend

This weekend should be interesting.
Pretty rainy day here in Kentucky. Supposed to have some strong storms tonight so that could effect the Friday game. Then we’re under a wind advisory from 8:00 pm to 5:00 pm tomorrow, so looking at 30 to 50 mph wind gusts for tomorrow’s games.

We are going to have to see this gif all year aren't we?

Hoping we can go ahead and take the series tonight of course. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - we can only play the teams on the schedule and it’s nice that we’ve won so much in the first couple of months, but it has been a relatively weak schedule.
We’ve got LSU next week who is head and shoulders above anyone else we’ve played. It’ll be interesting to see how we stack up.
ETA: that series is then followed up by @Vandy and UF. So we’ll get a real good measure of ourselves I guess
But again, hopefully we just take care of business tonight. We’re getting through the early part of our SEC schedule by the skin of our teeth.

One of the few bright spots. Plus glove and has been our best hitter.

Haas is a great player...he really stood out in your lineup against LSU.

Did you forget about state?

quote:My hope is fading...here is Kingstons post game: "Hi I'm Mark Kingston and I sit and watch as my team progressively strikes out more and more and I refuse to shake up the line up unless an injury forces me to. I allow my batters to leave the bat on their shoulder unless they get a grooved over the heart fastball or hanger in the zone homerun pitch. I hate my players protecting the plate. I think we can rely on 9 walks and 2 homers a game as my strategy. Oh and I love to call for two bunts in a row with men on and 2 over .300 hitters facing a pitcher the 3rd time thru with wind blowing out. Furthermore i will pull my pitcher when he has a low pitch count and is rolling so I can make the game close".
But again, hopefully we just take care of business tonight. We’re getting through the early part of our SEC schedule by the skin of our teeth.

Blowing the right direction could make a very fun night of baseball

It was a nice brisk wind blowing out last night at LSU and only one home run, but pitching had a lot to do with that.
A few came close for both teams in the bullpen.
I expect some more offensive games Fri and Sat.
