Debatable. Final Four and championships over the past 40 years favors Big East. Since 1980, teams in the championship games included 13 current Big East members and 11 current Big 12 members. For teams in their current conference affiliation, Big East has 8 championships since 1980 (represented by three teams) vs 4 championships from the Big 12 (three from Kansas and one from Baylor).

I’d say Big East is the better league year after year.
