Alabama had a chance to instill some accountability into one of their student athletes, but instead chose to take that players' side, even going as far as to try to paint him as a victim and hire armed security for him. Alabama has failed Brandon Miller and they have failed society.
We've seen what type of activities Miller involves himself in when he is on top of the world, as the star player on the #1 team in the country. Now that he has been taught that his actions are okay and that he will not be held accountable, imagine what types of activities he'll get involved with when basketball doesn't work out for him. He is obviously going to be a bust in the NBA, and will obviously turn to a life of crime. I just hope he's arrested before he's able to cause too much damage.

And hopefully this will convince the powers that be within the athletic department that we shouldn't hitch our wagon to basketball. This was our best team in school history and we couldn't even get past the Sweet Sixteen! It should be clear to all who follow the Tide that we aren't a basketball school and we should stop trying to be one. Let's devote the money where it belongs - the football program.

The two best teams they have ever put on a floor lost in the second round to Kent State (very badly) and the Sweet 16 to San Diego State.
