I forgot that Auburn’s best team ever didn’t make it out of the first weekend last year!

Not as funny as the final four banner Alabama didn't get this year.

I thought that was the 1999 team. FWIW that Miami team the last 2 seasons has been underrated.

Auburn has the last Final Four that this conference has.

Poor attempt at deflection, 100% chance domestic violence assaults in Alabama increased three fold after yesterday’s game.

1999 was Auburn’s best team. A lot like this year’s Bama team, unbelievable regular season, 1-seed, lost in the Sweet 16.
2019 was Auburn’s most accomplished team, though, with the Final Four.

Actually, our 2018-19 team is our best team ever.
They won the SEC Tournament Championship and the Midwest Regional Championship in the NCAA Tournament by beating these three historically patsy basketball programs: Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky. We lost by one point to the eventual champion in the semifinals.
Our team last year was highly rated because of some very talented, but young and inexperienced players. That lack of experience and maturity cost us late in the season. Sadly, we had to settle on just winning the SEC Championship.
The 2018-19 team would have whipped last year’s team by double digits…as would our 1998-1999 team that was a #1 seed that also lost in the Sweet 16.
Hope that helps soothe your wounds…
ETA: I actually agree with TeddyWestside. Our “best” team is probably the 98-99 team while our most “accomplished” team was 2018-19.
I’m good either way….

What's quite funny is that 13 hours after Bama's best team in history is eliminated from the round of 16 - Auburn is on your mind.
EarlyCuyler3 would be proud
