I think people misunderstand where i'm coming from about NSJ. I am so grateful he came here. I'm greatful that he geared up for us and recruited for us. I wish the kid nothing but the best. However I'm an NBA draft guy and from an NBA draft standpoint, I just don't see it. I don't see the burst. I don't see the handle. I don't see the upside.

I hope and pray he works his butt of during the offseason and develops a decent shot.

Also want to add that I think NSJ is tougher than he looks and he plays that way.
I’m confused on this aspect. I never ever would have questioned his toughness until I saw him look the other way when there was a loose ball in front of him on two occasions during the postseason. He’s clearly passionate about the game so I don’t get it.

Can't imagine the deal we inked to get him to stay. He could go anywhere...

Love him but hate that shot. Our offense next year can’t lean on that thing if we want to win games.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat compared to some of the other names that have been mentioned that the staff has contacted other than Olivari. I doubt he returns though.

There are well informed nba heads who still have him going top ten, top 5 in a few.

I think Nick's floor is DJM, so we will see.

I won't be a source of rancor on this issue going forward. Posts have been bookmarked.

I get this, but I think it's just part of being a freshman. AB was the same way at times, despite how hard he played most of the time. I think it was some of our problem, but the college game is different and that's to be expected with freshmen.

I'll add for vodka that I don't think NSJ should be a lottery pick either, but I disagree with the scouts regularly. I didn't think Moody looked like a lottery pick, even given his potential. But then I think most college basketball experts are actually dummies jumping on a bandwagon. Both are good players, but I just think they're a little overrated, while others like Brazile are underrated.

Anyone hearing we have Eddie Lampkin lined up?

I think Black will go top 6. IF I were the magic or the Rockets, and the rockets don't get scoot or Vic, i would jump all over Black. Perfect Fit. Black fits perfect with the magic as well and fits better with their timeline and Suggs is kinda a bust.

Brazile will be a top 10 pick next year IMHO. Athletic stretch 5 with rim protection.

So, Kevin seems to think there are 2 locks which I am assuming are Ware and Olivari and maybe as much as 4 altogether lined up?

I've heard Eddie Lampkin is a possibility. Who would the 4th be? Or the other 2 be if not Lampkin?

And Council returning?

I would assume another guard, my guess is someone from out of left field. We need to throw NIL money at Council and Walsh. Muss could make some things happen with:

Devo
Council
Brazile
Walsh
Olivari
Ware
Fall
Blocker

and some combination of the Michells, Graham, Pinion, Ford, Dunning off the bench.

Obviously we won't keep ALL of those folks, but I would assume Muss would bring in comparable replacements.

Super nice to actually LOOK FORWARD to recruiting/portal news as opposed to years past. It was always "So and So" left early and we didn't have a replacement lined up.
