Legit tough question.

I’d have Fayetteville, AR (and surrounding areas) and anywhere near I10 in Alabama (Foley, Fairhope, Daphne, Orange Beach ) ranked in my top 5 places to live in the Southeast

Next best for AR is probably the Hot Springs area, for AL probably Huntsville or a suburb of Bham like Hoover.

I’d probably lean Alabama just slightly. Mostly because anything South of Pine Bluff for AR is nothing but rice fields. Almost half the state is farmland

South east of pine bluff is fields. South Arkansas is woods. Literally nothing. Think the biggest town south of pine bluff has 18000.
