Definitely same. I never played organized basketball so I can’t articulate basketball strategy, diagram plays, discuss all the analytics of KenPom and Torvick, etc. . Just driveway hoops and civic center pickup games. I played football from 6 years old to 10th grade. I gravitated to wrestling and track later in HS and college. Football was my first love in sports but I’m a sports fan in general. I know enough about basketball to watch and discuss it. And if Bama is good in something I’m all about it… track, gymnastics, golf, baseball. I truly don’t understand the mindset of Football Only guys.
