Funny enough, there is NO RULE that says a fielder can't push a runner off base. However, it is enforced that way. An out cannot be obtained if the runner was forced off a base, however you do see instances where a "firm tag" pushes a runner off base and the runner's momentum is what causes him to come off the base- which is a legal out."
So basically unless it’s concrete, like the announcer said standing up and then pushed off, they were always going to go with the call on the field. I’m a LSU fan and I’d be pretty pissed if the roles were reversed.

He’s running to first base and his back foot hits the ball. Keep reaching gump.

Good grief Tommy White with two bush league plays in less than 10 minutes.
Oh shut up he dove with his whole body he was just diving for the hand he wasn’t intentionally pushing him off

Lmaoooooo
You can clearly see him drag his foot to kick the ball.

White made a mistake pay in the runner. He did not intentionally push him off the bag that’s why he was out. If the umpire ruled he intentionally pushed him off then he woulda been safe.

The runner is expect to have some body control. If a normal tag knocks him off, then the ump can call him out. But I have never seen a fielder forcibly remove the runners hand and the ump not use their digression to call the runner safe. Stanley was not longer moving. His hand was clearly on the base. White was coming in hot to make a play and the tag basically shoved the hand off.

Yeah, probably should have been called safe (assuming the initial swipe didn't get him), but can't really be reversed on review as the rules are written.
It wasn't an egregious move by White to force the runner off the bag. Just a normal tag as he was coming set

Based on the rule that has been posted, intentionality is irrelevant
