Their best team that destroyed their entire conference just got embarrassed by a 16 seed. Auburn who barely did anything in SEC play had no problem with Iowa. Arkansas who also barely did much destroyed Illinois as well.

This Big Ten media bias in basketball is horse shite when they're always overrated terrible and haven't won a national championship championship since 2000 yet they always get the most teams for no reason.

It's weird because they never win anything.

If you're old enough to remember, this the exact same way it used to be in football as well. They whine about SEC bias, but my entire childhood I had to endure the media fellating the Big Ten.

This seems to happen every year or close to it. And every year the medias like, “The Big Ten really is stacked this year! [X school] may get an at-large bid with a 17-15 (8-12) record!”

In all fairness, this century the current 16 team B10 members including UCLA and USC have 22 Final 4 appearances vs 14 for the 16 team SEC, including Texas and Oklahoma.

Having said that, the SEC has won 3 national titles since their last one. The Big Ten in big 2 sports is very good at getting close, but terrible at winning it all.

The ACC is still king of college basketball with 9 national titles this century from 5 current members (Syracuse, Louisville, Duke, UNC, and UVA).

Billy Donovan's decision to press Michigan St in the title game will remain one of the dumbest decisions ever at any Final Four.

The media is liberal. That’s all you need to know.

Because most media members live in the north and can’t stand the fact that most southern and western schools are better than their chosen schools. It’s the same thing in football with Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame

I've always had the opinion that college basketball is largely a northeast sport, where you'll find a slew of little colleges with national powerhouse teams most years.

The east coast media also showers them with praise and support. The Big 10 sort of falls into that region, plus it has an enormous alumni base.

I've also had a conspiracy theory that the panel has historically pitted teams from down south all the way to the west coast against each other in the brackets so they will knock each other out and pave the way for the northeast schools to go the distance.

They are better in basketball than they are football.

I actually believe the ACC and Big 12 are better football conferences.
