Am I the only one that hates calling it "a single divison"? There are no divisions. It seems stupid to say there's one division with 16 teams in it. In reality there are none.

Football Rivalries and Baseball Rivalries can be very different. Who do you want your two to be?

For A&M its tu and... I guess Lsu. I am sure several would consider Lsu as their baseball rival due to their success.

ETA: I misread and thought it was football. Sounds good to me.

This surprises me.

It doesn't work mathematically. If you've got 2 permanent opponents, that leaves you 13 to rotate, so we are left with the unbalanced rotation. If you have five permanent opponents, that would leave ten to rotate, so you'd play 5 and 5.

Auburn will take bama and uga and pencil in a 4-2 or 5-1 record to start the year.

well since Rayberry Tanner has been on record very recently with remarks of "we'll (Carolina) do what's best for the SEC overall" in regards to football schedules - I suspect USC will be traveling to middle-America every season to play at Arkansas or Missouri on the diamond.

these 4 will mix it up every year

ALA - AUB FLA
AUB - ALA UGA
FLA - UGA ALA
UGA - FLA AUB

this will be the Holy Trinity of SEC baseball

LSU - OLE MSU
OLE - LSU MSU
MSU - LSU OLE

Ozarks + Carolina

ARK - MIZ USC
MIZ - ARK USC
USC - ARK MIZ

bourbon/whiskey trio

KEN - TEN VAN
TEN - KEN VAN
VAN - KEN TEN

sorry Aggies someone has to play them

OKL - TEX A&M
TEX - A&M OKL
A&M - OKL TEX

I would be willing to bet ours will be Mississippi State and LSU.

Ole Miss, State and LSU will probably be each other’s permanent opponents. It makes too much sense.

Arky will probably get the Texas schools or Okie/Mizzou

We have developed an incredible baseball rivalry with Arkansas and now that shite will be over. They’ll give Ole Miss LSU and MSU as permanents. The OGs of SEC baseball blue bloods.

This is dumb. This is the easiest and best way to do it:

16 teams in the SEC. Your 15 opponents are put into groups of 5.

Group A, B, and C

Year 1: Play A and B

Year 2: Play B and C

Year 3: Play C and A

You play everyone every 2 out of 3 years. That makes it easy to play at home against a team one season and on the road the next season. No long breaks between opponents.

Year 1 you play a team at home. Year 2 you play them on the road. Year 3 you don't play. Repeat.
