If true LSU should get their money back. The product isn't cooperating.

LSU and A&M fans pretending they aren’t obsessed with each other is hilarious to everyone else on this board.

Not gonna say we don’t dislike them. We definitely don’t hate them like Bama. They’re like an annoying splinter. Sure they sneak a win here and there. But are these wins ever in route to a championship?

When the games are for a trip to ATL Or make the CFP I’ll start considering it a legit rivalry. It’s meaningless. It’s just another series like Arkansas. That’s slightly warm. Nothing heated.

That's because they're not your daddy, like BAMA. But you sure hate them. Make no mistake.

2004-2007 Auburn-LSU was as good as it got in terms of SEC football because the teams were good and the games were magnificent, but the games didn’t carry the same weight when one or both teams weren’t great the same way a great rivalry does.

I remember as a kid listening on the radio to my Aggies score a last second TD bomb to McElroy for a rare win in Baton Rouge.

Border state fighting over the same recruits only makes it better. This is actually one of the great rivalries in the “re-making” as long as A&M is competitive.

It was actually a fun little rivalry when they were in the Southwest conference. We played them every year for a while in the mid 80's to mid 90's. Now they're forcing it on us.

We’ve played each other over 60 times, and have been in the conference 10 years, guess there is half a century of history there that happened outside my lifetime

They make sense as one of our perms, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

After being on this site for a few years, the SEC teams that LSU fans think and post about the most are:

1. Texas A&M
2. Bama
3. Everyone else

I really liked the LSU-Florida rivalry but it doesn't get much attention from either fanbase. Was hoping that would be preserved with the realignment.

Actually, Florida fans, LSU fans, and a lot of SEC fans who enjoy watching good football games care.

That 2010 Cotton Bowl was typical of so many of the LSU-Aggy games.

Aggy came out sky high, LSU came out disinterested.

By the second quarter, Aggy had finally gotten LSU's attention.

LSU then proceeded to slap Aggy senseless.

The final score could have been worse than what it was.

Sigh. Playing down is boring. LSU-Florida is real football. LSU-Ole Miss is historic and the unis and fan stuff is epic. LSU -Bama is 11-13 this century and the games are among the highest profile of any in CFB and both fanbases love to torment the other. LSU v Agtard? Who the frick cares? It's embarrassing. Spicy Gumbo vs lactose-free Vanilla ice cream. Iconic uniforms vs whatever the frick it is Aggie wears. The craziest fun fanbase vs the most dour and humorless one. It's just Gross.
