He's seeing the ball well and making great contact. Definitely taking advantage of every at bat. That coupled with his solid defense behind the plate, I'd give him the nod at the open of SEC play. He's earned it.

Neal has been struggling at the plate recently. Defensively, there were several passed balls that got away.

Neal has started every game except for one. That’s not going to suddenly change at the start of the grind of the schedule, even if Milazzo starts to get more PT. Neal will start Friday against A&M.
