14-0 with (1-6) Colombia coming to town this weekend. Can you say 17-0? Might even be 18-0 to start SEC play. I don't believe that has happened since A&M did it in 2015. Ags started 5-0 in conference play too.
The polls are starting to take notice. The Tide is ranked #18 to #21 across multiple rankings. Is Bama baseball back?

Will need one of their players to kill someone before we truly know

Don't they usually do well in OOC then completely fall apart in conference play? I feel like that has been their MO recently.

We have jumped out to a great record for like the last 4 years only to get bitchslapped once conference play started

Their schedule has been embarrassingly terrible not having played a single team with a winning record currently, but, still going 14-0 is tough to do in baseball, would have figured they would have dropped 1 or 2 games so far. They've beaten every team by 4+ runs except a 2 run win over High Point and 2 run win over Illinois-Chicago so thats something.
Really wont know anything about them till conference play though.

Based on their opponents so far, it looks like Nick Saban earned some extra stipend money by helping the baseball program figure out their non-conference schedule.
Next week, they travel to Florida and the Gators will be their first significant opponent of the year. I've guessing the Gators take the series or sweep the Tide.

They are trying to take a page from the old Tennessee non conference scheduling.

Alabama was yet to play a single opponent that currently has a winning record.
They have yet to play a single "Quad 1" game as measured by either RPI or ELO:

This weekend, they're hosting 1-6 Columbia for a series. I imagine SEC play will be a shocking wakeup call for Mr. Bohannon's club.

The COVID year they started of 14-0. That was shaping up to being a promising year. Still sucks we lost a season of college baseball to the coof.

Bama baseball use to be solid. Mid to late 90's, it was #1-#2, LSU and Alabama. Alabama CWS trips '96, '97, '99 . They were #1 seed in Omaha both '96, '97. Alabama also had solid success in the SEC tournament.
They got squeezed in '98. They should of hosted a regional but were sent to the Sunken Diamond, Stanford. I believe its was still a shorter field back the 48 teams rather than 64.
Bama continued success in early 2000's. They fell behind with Wells retirement, the building boom in the SEC, and they didn't have the scholarship advantages other SEC schools have.

Spring practice starts soon. That's more important.

Oh no. Bama trails Columbia 9-2 in the 7th. Looks like the streak may be coming to an end. That’s too bad.
