I'll say this, in this instance the law enforcement investigated and charged a high-profile player in a high-profile incident that involved a university employee.

They have been open and forthcoming in releasing the evidence and explaining the charges, as well as the timeline of events.

That's about all you can ask for.

The university has not involved themselves in the matter as, I presume, they have been told to keep quiet on the matter in advance of expected civil lawsuits. They have simply expressed regret and sympathy in the matter.

That's about all you can ask for.

I will be interested to see, in light of these revelations, how UGA proceeds in disciplining Dumas-Johnson, who was recently charged with street racing as well (incredibly after this accident, which surely he knows about from inside locker room discussions).
