Sit him for the rest of the season. He made a terrible decision and has suffered little from it, or so it seems.

Teach a lesson that hanging with thugs, carrying around a gun, living with thugs... Doing anything that aids in taking an innocent life has consequences.

Teach him, teach others... Love the kid, help him but sit him. Show the world that these decisions mean more in life than winning a damn game. And win without him.

Let me ask you this. Does it look good to anyone, especially the family that he is still playing? Was it handled well by your HC with his statements, and apologies? How about this intro to each game, handled well? all of that and he didn't get SEC honors this week? Do you wonder why? Good Lord man, some of you bama fans need to separate a bit from your fandom and see this for what it is.

THis is about more than looks, but I be damned, The looks along with the actions are absolutely terrible all around by bama and it AD Admins.

See...this is where we disagree. According to the police, he did not make a terrible decision. In an incident like the one that occurred in January, if he had indeed made a terrible decision he would have been charged with a crime due to the fact that a human being was murdered. According to the police, he was not involved and is considered a witness. You are essentially arguing for him to sit the rest of the season for witnessing a criminal act.

You, along with others, have already tried, convicted, and sentenced the kid without having access to ALL the information.
That's not how things work in this country! There'll be plenty of time for punishment when the investigation is over, NOT before!

But they needed Miller to beat lowly South Carolina. He hasn’t sat yet he won’t sit now. Bama surely has no chance to win anything without him - why would they sit him now? If they were having a bad season it’s likely a different story.

So for people who commit felonies, just a little bit of a self enforced time out? No police or prison or anything?

Can we do this with other laws or does this option only pertain to athletes?

And before you say he didn't commit a crime or anything, then why sit him at all?
