If Auburn loses two of the next three, are they lower than a 9 seed?

Probably. We have a minimum of 4 games left. Here’s how I see our seeding playing out based on how we perform:

0 wins: one of the last teams OUT
1 win: one of the last 4 teams IN (play-in)
2 wins: 9-seed
3 wins+: 8-seed

I don't see us winning more than three between now and the NCAA Tourney. I think most likely is 2 wins and a 9-seed. Beating UT at home. Winning one in Nashville.

I don’t see them seeding a SEC team lower than 9. Most of those spots are reserved for the champions of the lower league conferences, ex. The Atlantic Sun, Patriot League, Ohio Valley, etc. There’s been times in the past when it’s happened but not with conference being down this bad.
