glad they showed the lawyer statement and byrne's comments. seemed to look much better for brandon by the end of the segment.

Oh the lawyer’s comments are being presented as fact.
You know lawyers also give opening and closing arguments in trials, and they can say what they want (and do) alllll of the time.
“it wasn’t my client!”
And still get convicted. The attorney has the duty to protect their clients. No shite he is going to spin something publicly that makes his client look better.

You don’t believe the lawyer do you? He contradicts himself a couple of times and demands we suspend our sense of disbelief to the point of absurdity.
