"At this time the DA (IN TUSCALOOSA) does not feel...."
I seriously question almost any other DA would "feel" that way. I seriously question that this DA would feel that way if the person is question were not who he is when he is.

Did he not text that the “joint” was in the “hat” with “one in the head?”

Miller? No. Brandon Miller never said or texted that.

Miles texted Miller about the joint. Miles told told David in the back of Miller's car about the hat.

Who did ? I must have gotten that confused. Miller certainly didn’t deny the request to deliver the murder weapon.

No. The bottom line is why was Brandon Miller not suspended after knowing his teammate wanted his gun for some type of escalation

This thread was about the criminal aspect of it, so that’s what I was responding to.

Why should he? Is there a law stating you can’t give someone their gun back when they ask for it?

That is debatable. The OP didn't specifically mention the criminal aspect of it.

Tuscaloosa detective Branden Culpepper testified Tuesday that Miller brought Darius Miles' gun to him on the night of the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Jamea Jonae Harris, after Miles texted him and asked him to do so

It’s being reported that Miller told them there was round in the chamber.

As far as I know there are more than enough cameras around the scene to have a very good idea of how it went down. If the cops or DA had any inkling that Miller was trying to block the escape of the victim, they would not be saying you he didn't do anything they could charge him with. I know a woman who was arrested for blocking another woman's car in a freaking Walmart parking lot and nobody even got shot. I really find it hard to believe things happened as you are imagining them. If Miller illegally detained a person that wound up murdered, there would have been some mention of it.

I will try to answer your original question as if it is not a troll hard attempt. I seriously doubt he blocked the street road block style, perpendicular to the flow of traffic. The street in question is a narrow street that often has cars parked on both curbs. My guess (though not confirmed) is he pulled up at wherever Miles was and idled his car in the middle of the street thus blocking traffic.

Seems the lawyer statement makes it seem like he was parked on the curb. IF that is true, maybe he was parked wonky with his nose or rear in the street. Honestly, it wouldn’t take much to block that road.

Well I guess that settles it then

I heard Mildred on Finebaum years ago say she fricked Bear Bryant, Pat Dye and Tommy Tubberville. I believed too
