Beautiful looking. But doesn’t look like a smart place to pitch a tent.

That's what I was thinking as well.
Plus, desert landscape is prettier on TV. It's like swamps. Beautiful to look at remotely, but kind of sucks in person or for extended periods of viewing
Give me mountains/hills and hardwoods any day.
