Any idiot can cherry pick numbers, one way or the other. The simple fact is that the series is almost exactly even since A&M went coed and dropped the military requirement, which seems a logical way by which to define the “modern era.“

How would you explain actual military schools achieving success and championships during and since WWII, but the cosplay one in College Station has nothing to point to?
Also, how is picking a year when the current century literally began "cherry-picking"?
If you agree that cherry-picking is unnecessary, take the "rivalry" for what it truly is then...
