2019
2017- more talented than Auburn
You do realize that the more talented team does not win every game. Right? Especially at night on the road.
There is evidence for UGA under Kirby of having 20 point swings going from road to neutral/home. And for good reason (road games matter)

2018- how the frick did you lose to that 2018 LSU team?
LSU was top 10 composite talent and #2 in the country for recruiting class 2016 (upper class was talent heavy).
Joe Burrow converted 4 QB sneaks on 4th down. After losing Roquan from 2017, we were resetting our ILB room and they couldn't handle mobile QBs (10 rushing TDs allowed by UGA in 2018 to QBs). Burrow also rushed for 2 TDs.
Maybe he isn't talented. I don't know.

And Texas?
Half our defense was missing. No excuses for the offense. OL had no answer for their d line stunts. Coaching definitely screwed the offense in the bowl game.

2019- South Carolina?
Injuries to key players (DL/OL/WR) and took risks that failed. Everyone wants to be aggressive all the time... and then sometimes it is better to play smart.

2020- absolutelt more talented than Florida. Probably equally talented as Alabama at that point.
New OC with covid offseason. 1 QB optout. 1 QB recovering from ACL. And 1 QB learning on the job with almost no offseason reps with #1s.
An interesting tidbit:
Games without Jordan Davis Starting or Finishing
2018 LSU, Texas
2019 South Carolina
2020 Alabama, Florida
