Richt has averaged 10.375 wins per season and has three sec championship appearances and 2 conference championships in 8 years on the job. His only seasons with less than 10 wins were the 2001 season (his first year as a head coach) and 2006 when he won 9 games starting stafford as a true freshman. He has been to three BCS games (2-1 record) and has 5 top 10 finishes on his resume. I think firing him at this point would be pretty absurd.
