While this is true, it’s also worth noting that LSU had 3 losses, had just lost to A&M, and was a 2 TD underdog. A better comparison would be the numbers from AL and FL in 2020.

Yep. Two 16 team conferences. Where have I heard of a two conference, 32 team league before? Hmmmm.
