Had a great experience. No problems.LSU fans were great.I will say they lived up to the hype that they know how to party.Tiger stadium is real loud.LSU has a good physical team. The most physical team we have played so far,by far!!!A play or two away from beating us.I think (KNOW) the difference was the QB play. Thanks and hope ya'll do well with the remainder of your season.Signed "Tiga Bait"

You mean you didn't get your arse kicked, have piss balloons thrown on you, or threatened to be killed after we played Rammer Jammer in scary ole Death Valley?

Talk is cheap tough guys.

I had Bama buddies down for the game, and they are all taking good stories of BR back home. Tailgating was great, and most of the fans were great. Awesome weekend!

What surprised me is that there were Bama fans downtown Baton Rouge Saturday morning with no intentions of going on campus. Just gonna watch the game in their hotel?

Piss balloons? Really? Would that require me sticking my...nevermind.

I'm glad you had a good experiance, I know for a fact that at the tailgates I go to, especially family tailgates, when we're done yelling Tiger Bait at you, we're more than willing to feed and liquor you up. Even after the game...as long as you don't gloat

I plan on heading to Tuscaloosa next year, hopefully I have a positive experiance. Gainesville wasn't exactly welcoming...

We partied with a lot of Bama dudes and had a blast (aside form the game of course).

I had no problems with any of the Bama fans or the good natured (and earned) trash talking after the game.

But, I still think the "we just beat the hell outta you" is really classless and it wasn't just a couple of drunk students singing it. But that's just me.

The weather was also awesome.

do you know LSU's cheers? you must not if you're calling rammer jammer classless. I went to LSU 2 years and sat in the student section for games.

Ding ding - Winner!!! You're talking about college students.

But it's not just the SS, but the entire UA section that sings it. And while you and other UA fans may not agree, it is classless crap.

what if we change it to "beat the heck out of you?" Will that make it better? Or is it just the fact that we do a cheer after our team wins (we actually used to do it before and after the game)? I guess I just see it as part of our tradition, and there isn't any profanity or vulgarity about it so I thought it was harmless

honestly i hate Rammer Jammer, but I can see that I would love it if it was an LSU tradition. It does its job: rub a victory in the oppositions face. Gotta love college football.

I think it's a lame cheer, but it doesn't offend me and I dare say that most LSU fans could care less. They didn't beat the hell out of LSU, and we all know that...so let them sing.

Bamaatlsu, how do you guys feel when the Barners do it back at y'all? Is that supposed to be the ultimate insult, turning your own cheer against you? I've seen the video on YouTube of last year's Iron Bowl and I gotta say, it was pretty cool the way Auburn's whole stadium got in on the act.

See everyone had a good time tailgating and the fanbases got along well. But you'll probably hear how bad the fans are when Alabama makes the trip in 2010.
