Yes, same plan as the LSU game. Move fast on offense before UT can setup and use their physicality. Whether UT hits a shot or misses, 2-3 quick passes and shoot.

UT moves slow on both ends, but they are physical. Also press their smaller guards and force bad shots from them as the shot clock expires.

people need to take a step back

this is year 1 of gates rebuilding the program. anything this year is extra credit.

crying about losses, with a team who's not even close to being put together, is silly.

enjoy a team who's actually coached up, cuonzo coached teams were always on the short end of the coaching. same could be said for drink, he's not a good head coach.

Bumpity...

After last nights 20th win MU is definitely in. And while I think a Sweet 16 run is possible all it takes is one bad shooting night to derail them.

It's really good they won a game where they didn't score 80 points.

Would be nice to creep up to 5-6 seed. Win out and a couple of wins in the SEC tourney….and maybe?

That’s more or less true of any team.

They didn’t shoot particularly well and still beat a tough MSU team which may bode well for the tournament proving they can survive such a game against a decent opponent.

Was just about to say this. Pre- MSU I was worried about ever winning a game with an off shooting night.

I was thinking this too. Even with a really good defense it’s hard for a undersized team to win if they have a off night or have long droughts in a game.

It's come to this: If the Tigers don't make the Sweet 16 I will be disappointed.
And, I see a path to the Elite 8.

Who woulda thunk it! The teams is lightyears ahead of last year. Gate's teams are
fun to watch. It was smart of the AD to lock him up.
