What do you mean by head south real quick?

I'm extrapolating from Josh Brooks comment that they aren't accepting any responsibility for the accident. 'Things will go south' if any of the families decides to sue the University. Whether UGA is guilty or not doesn't matter at that point. Who knows what will come out at trial. It will be poor publicity the AA and the University.

why? What do you think "go south" means in this case? People suing UGA for something that isn't their fault doesn't mean shite, aside from "so and so sues UGA" being a headline for 2 days on social media, but I'd hardly call that going south.

The university, the athletic department, kirby, our coaches, our AD, and every individual involved with UGA is completely innocent and scot free in this entire thing. People can sue whoever they want but it's not going to make UGA "go south" in any way.
