I don't think any party wants this to go to trial. UGA/UGAAA probably doesn't want lawyers digging into their AD and the affected families may not want this to drag out over years with the chance of coming away empty handed.

You'd be surprised what people will do after they've moved through their grief and realize a couple million dollars is sitting on the table.
