UGA will throw all kinds of attorneys and PR people at this situation. One of the keys for UGA is the PR aspect. It's a terrible tragedy and the University wants to be empathetic, but still they have to travel a fine line in terms of acknowledging liability.

exactly. When University President, AD and HC are rowing together in same direction, the storm can be weathered. I am sure they are all at "Defcon 1" now w/ PR and lawyers working overtime - as soon as the full accident report(w/ toxicology) and independent review are completed - settlements will be negotiated, NDAs will be signed and PR campaign waged.

The tragedy is real and sad - all that can be done now is to compensate the victims' families and to change policies and procedures moving forward.
