I haven't seen anything connecting Bama to Johnson, or Johnson to any team outside of the NFL. It's been speculative articles only by beat writers pulling names from anywhere, whereas yeah he's actively interviewing for NFL OC jobs.

He's been a college OC, I don't think you take a step back when clearly there's interest in you in the NFL. He may not land an OC job this year, but it bodes well enough for him the following year. Some have even talked about him being a HC candidate.
