To everyone else, is this guys melt because detailed revealed the UGA player and escort, I mean recruiting assistant, were leaving a strip club before the crash?
Because when it was just an accident, all I remember seeing were heartfelt condolences and prayers offered.

In the literal sense, you have it exactly right. Her job was to escort him downtown and make sure he didn't get into any trouble.
Unfortunately, she didn't do her job well but implying they were hooking up is pretty gross.
