On a serious note, I had this conversation with a coworker today. Hoping JP was in just enough hot water for it to make sense that he takes a lesser role, while getting Schumann back to Tuscaloosa as DC. Even if he gets that HC offer in a couple years, Jermy is sitting in the wings and chomping at the bit. Literally couldn’t work out any better if it proves to be true. Hope you’re right.

I've been thinking the same thing. Hire Schumann away from Smart, and have Pruitt waiting in the wings (as either an analyst or safeties coach) if/when Schumann gets a HC opportunity.
