What the frick does that matter? Does it make her less dead? Does it make the situation better?

Most importantly, this doesn't affect Nate Oats rotations.

It is a culture issue that will not be resolved by white folks. The solution must come from within the culture. Oats and Alabama have nothing to do with the decision this young thug made to throw his life away.

Of course the black community has to solve this. What makes you think I was implying Alabama had anything to do with this? Young ppl murdering for no reason happen everyday in this country and almost everywhere.

I'm sure the woman's family would love to hear this.
Your reaction is problematic.

My reaction also. People just throwing their entire lives away. Shame on anybody who trolls Alabama for shits and giggles when a woman lost her life and this kid spends 40 years in prison. It’s depressing and demoralizing how black people live in this murder paradigm that never ends.

I'm not trolling at all. I'm saying that the ones pushing the "mental illness" angle to cover for this POS to sell down the river in order to make their school look less tPOS is even a more chicken shite thing to do than trolling is all.

frick em.both.

ETA want this to all end? Call it out for exactly what it is.

Don't hide behind the innuendo.

Not even remotely the same.

You relate hookers to murder?

No, that's not a bama thing, this is the Gang, Rap culture that has taken over most sports, especially basketball.

Bama is not guilty of anything in reality, Perception however is bad for Bama, this would not be an international story except for the fact he played major college basketball

As to this forum, it is what many do. Blame the school. Auburn had the wire road 4 (armed robbery) and we caught hell for it. Some even bring it up now. No one was injured, etc. I think they got $33.

ETA: happened in 2011.

So they are not going to plead guilty to an automatic sentence.

People plead guilty in capital cases all the time in exchange for not risking the death penalty.

Here’s you one in Tuscaloosa from a few months ago.

And here’s on In Florence from December.

Seems odd to me too given that 20+ years pass before death sentences are carried out but some people feel differently.

Brought his shitty friend from DC (one of many places churning out teens and young adults as fully fledged criminals) and gets arrested 48 hours after getting back to Tuscaloosa from his absence from the team

Oh and there is a young child involved that’s highly likely to get trapped in the same cycle. I’m so goddamn sick of thug culture

Just because one feels it is mental illness doesn't mean that one is implying the person "gets away with it".

Cancer is an illness as well, and we work to destroy the cancerous growth in our bodies to save the whole.

Want what all to end? There's nothing to defend. Unfortunately we'll have to pay for him to sit in a prison for decades even if he gets the death penalty.

Whether or not he has a mental illness really has nothing to do with the murder. Could explain his mindset, but that's about it. You're reading an excuse into something that isn't an excuse.

It's pretty awful. I don't understand why anyone would throw away everything over something so temporary.
