Did he play any?

Not since December. Out with a season ending injury.

Put him away for good.

If he is truly guilty of capital murder, I say death penalty.

ETA: Just realized we're 11 pages in. Surely this has all been answered by now. My bad.

“I just wanted to address the Darius Miles situation. He’s out with a personal matter. We’re not sure how long he’ll be out. But we’re supporting him through it and are trying to help him through it,” said Miles. “That’s why he wasn’t on the bench tonight. It’s a personal matter, not an injury, and we’re not quite sure how long he’ll be out.”

I think this is as much as a coach can share about it?

Shooting at a car right outside the Houndstooth on the strip. Tons of innocent college kids enjoying a Saturday night could have been easily injured or killed because these people couldn't control themselves. Happening way too often

As one that went to Alabama, I can tell you if you’re out on the strip late at night past Publix you ain’t safe.

Constant theft, burglaries, people being held at gunpoint, etc at the apartments behind Publix, at the BP on the other side of the street, etc.

Shooting into an occupied vehicle...murder while in the process of a felony crime. Also he could have just been a passenger in the car and gotten the same charge.
unconfirmed early rumor that his DC buddy was the trigger man and gun belonged to miles. Girl killed when they exchanged gunfire with someone else.

Could be felony murder, but this is just from rumors that spread in Tuscaloosa earlier today.

Yeah that can mean anything.

Trying to save a bad look for your university by using the scapegoat of mental illness is even shittier.

I mean folks were saying he was dealing with mental issues well before he decided to kill someone. It’s a shitty look for the team and university regardless

A student doing something bad and then getting removed from the school doesn't reflect poorly on the university.

Maybe it shouldn’t, but it does. That’s why these coaches are always telling kids to remember who and what they represent.

When you just recruit athletes regardless of their background and not student athletes, you put
the student body in danger as well as the community at large. NIL will only blind coaches
further .

Whomever pulled the trigger MAY can get a deal for life without if he pleads guilty before trial but that’s about it

That doesn't make sense since capital murders only have 2 possible sentences. Life without parole or death. And the state only really seeks the death penalty for extremely heinous or cruel acts that resulted in death.

So they are not going to plead guilty to an automatic sentence.

I believe the charges will be reduced even before going to a grand jury duty indictment
