Alabama won the NC in 2020 and were runner-ups in 2021. They deserved the right to be one of the final four teams until someone knocks them out of the semifinals. We all know that Michigan, Ohio State, and especially not TCU were going to do that. Georgia would probably beat us 7 out of 10 times, but there still would have been a 30% chance of Saban passing Bear Bryant with his 7th NC at Alabama last night.

That doesn't mean what you think it means.

If you've paid attention:
There is no such thing as a defending national champion. The 2021 UGA team wasn't out there grinding in 2022. It was different guys working for their own glory.

It's a little embarrassing that this thread represents an LSU education at work.

They got their chance to defend it and lost two games. Sorry y’all have a hard time coping with not getting to back your way in every year

No, they didn’t but it’s not shocking coming from you considering your fricked up screen name

Dude...Nick Saban has not lost 3 games in over a decade. Did you really want to blemish that streak by adding a 3rd loss this year...because that's what Bama would have received last night.

Wrong. Didn’t win the division nor the conference.

You can’t decide those two things matter when it suits you, and ignore them when it doesn’t.
