Rationale - It's a tough decision. He may have to move next year, so why not now. Then again, if he gets along with Pittman, why chance anything with an unknown.

So do we have any other decent candidates?
I fear anyone hood will not want to tether their career to such a young inexperienced head coach. We already had to promote LB coach to DC.
We are going to be young and inexperienced coaching wise going against some of the most seasoned and experienced coaches in college football. Saban, Freeze, Pittman with Briles, Brian Kelly, Kiffin, Jimbo now with Petrino.
This is going to be a disaster and we are going to lose a lot of players to the portal before next season. I really don’t see this ending well. I’m just giving my honest opinion. I hope I’m wrong but I’m not optimistic
